The purpose of the Hudson-Mohawk Valley Area Mathematics Association is to:

 1. Encourage active interest in mathematics and mathematics education.

 2. Provide information regarding mathematics and mathematics education to its members and to the public.

3. Further the cooperative study of issues regarding math education.

4. Conduct the annual Hudson Mohawk Valley Area Mathematics  Conference.
 
The Hudson-Mohawk Valley Area Mathematics Association is an affiliate of the Association of Mathematics Teachers of New York State (AMTNYS).
